Foreign exchange rates at the end of Sunday’s trading

The foreign exchange rate witnessed a stability at the end of Sunday 31 August 2025 trading at Egypt's major banks.
First Bank monitors foreign currency rates in major banks in Egypt:
U.S. dollar
The US dollar rate against EGP recorded EGP 48.5201 for buying and EGP 48.6539 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest dollar rate for buying was in «ADIB-Egypt»at EGP 48.58 .
The lowest rate for selling was in «FABMISR» at EGP 48.60 .
Euro
The Euro rate against EGP recorded EGP 56.6909 for buying and EGP 56.8667 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank’s website.
The highest Euro rate for buying was in «IDB» at EGP 56.59 .
The lowest rate for selling was in HSBC at EGP 56.84 .
Pound Sterling
The pound sterling rate against EGP stands at EGP 65.5167 for buying and EGP 65.7120 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest pound sterling rate for buying was in HSBC at EGP 65.45 .
While the lowest rate for selling was in «FABMISR» at EGP 65.69 .
Saudi Riyals
The Saudi riyal rate against EGP today in Egypt recorded EGP 12.9301 for buying and EGP 12.9664 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest rate for buying today was in «ADIB-Egypt» at EGP 12.95 .
The lowest rate for selling was in «ABK-Egypt» at EGP 12.96 .
Kuwaiti Dinar
Kuwaiti dinar rate today in Egypt reached EGP 158.8220 for buying and EGP 159.3121 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest rate for buying the Kuwaiti dinar was in KFH-Egypt at EGP 158.84 .
The lowest price for selling was in Credit Agricole-Egypt at EGP 159.10 .
Emirati Dirham
The rate of Emirati dirham today in Egypt recorded EGP 13.2103 for buying and EGP 13.2485 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest rate for buying the Emirati dirham today was in «ADIB-Egypt» at EGP 13.23 .
The lowest price for selling the Emirati dirham today was in «BANKNXT» at EGP 13.24
