Foreign exchange rates at the end of Wednesday’s trading

The foreign exchange rate witnessed an increase at the end of Wednesday 17 September 2025 trading at Egypt's major banks.

First Bank monitors foreign currency rates in major banks in Egypt:

U.S. dollar

The US dollar rate against EGP recorded EGP 48.0899 for buying and EGP 48.2254 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.

The highest dollar rate for buying was in «NXT BANK»  at EGP 48.13 .

The lowest rate for selling was in «FABMISR» at EGP 48.17 .

Euro

The Euro rate against EGP recorded EGP 56.9192  for buying and EGP 57.0844 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank’s website.

The highest Euro rate for buying was in «EBank» at EGP 56.98 .

The lowest rate for selling was in «NBK-Egypt» at EGP 56.97 .

Pound Sterling

The pound sterling rate against EGP stands at EGP 65.5994 for buying and EGP 65.8035 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.

The highest pound sterling rate for buying was in «EBank» at EGP 65.61 .

While the lowest rate for selling was in «QNB-Egypt» at EGP 65.80 .

Saudi Riyals

The Saudi riyal rate against EGP today in Egypt recorded EGP 12.8171 for buying and EGP 12.8546 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.

The highest rate for buying today was in «ABK-Egypt»  at EGP 12.83 .

The lowest rate for selling was in HSBC at EGP 12.84 .

Kuwaiti Dinar

Kuwaiti dinar rate today in Egypt reached EGP 157.6562  for buying and EGP 158.1523 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.

The highest rate for buying the Kuwaiti dinar was in KFH-Egypt at EGP 158.08.

The lowest price for selling was in «QNB-Egypt»  at EGP 158.12.

Emirati Dirham

The rate of Emirati dirham today in Egypt recorded EGP 13.0917 for buying and EGP 13.1304 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.

The highest rate for buying the Emirati dirham today was in «EBank» at EGP 13.10 .

The lowest price for selling the Emirati dirham today was in Banque de Caire at EGP 13.12 .
