HD Bank, ADIB-Egypt, and SC Bank are the fastest-growing listed banks in financial investments during the first nine months of 2025
HD Bank tops the list of the fastest-growing banks listed on the Egyptian Exchange in financial investments with a growth rate of 89.9%… while ADIB-Egypt ranks second with a growth rate of 71.1%.
SC Bank ranks third with a growth rate of 50.3%… and CIB and EBank secure the fourth and fifth places with growth rates of 40.1% and 20.2% respectively.
The First Bank list of the fastest-growing banks listed on the Egyptian Exchange in total financial investments and treasury bills during the first nine months of 2025 revealed that Housing & Development Bank «HD Bank» topped the list, as its portfolio increased by 89.9%, reaching EGP 97.93 billion at the end of September 2025, compared to EGP 51.58 billion at the end of 2024.
The list which includes all banks listed on the Egyptian Exchange, showed that 11 banks achieved positive growth rates in their total financial investment portfolios, while one bank recorded a notable decline during the first nine months of 2025.
Turning to the list, Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank-Egypt «ADIB-Egypt» secured the second place, after its total financial investments increased by 71.1% during the first nine months of the current year, reaching EGP 71.80 billion at the end of September 2025, compared to EGP 41.97 billion at the end of 2024.
Suez Canal Bank «SC Bank» ranked third, supported by a 50.3% increase in its total financial investments during the first nine months of this year, reaching EGP 46.47 billion at the end of September 2025, compared to EGP 30.92 billion at the end of 2024.
Commercial International Bank-Egypt «CIB» came in fourth place, with its total financial investments growing by 40.1% in the first nine months of the year, reaching EGP 560.92 billion at the end of September 2025, compared to EGP 400.31 billion at the end of 2024.
As for the fifth place, it went to the Export Development Bank of Egypt «EBank», whose total financial investments surged by 20.2% during the first nine months of the current year, reaching EGP 51.15 billion at the end of September 2025, compared to EGP 42.55 billion at the end of 2024.
It is worth noting that all values and growth rates referenced in the above analysis are based on the standalone financial statements disclosed by each bank as of the end of September 2025.
