Foreign exchange rates at the beginning of Monday’s trading
The foreign exchange rate witnessed a stability at the beginning of Monday 15 December 2025 trading at Egypt's major bank.
First Bank monitors foreign currency rates in major banks in Egypt:
U.S. dollar
The US dollar rate against EGP recorded EGP 47.4168 for buying and EGP 47.5526 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest dollar rate for buying was in «EBank» at EGP 47.59.
The lowest rate for selling was in «Emirates NBD» at EGP 47.45.
Euro
The Euro rate against EGP recorded EGP 55.6673 for buying and EGP 55.8315 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank’s website.
The highest Euro rate for buying was in «ADIB-Egypt» at 55.68 EGP.
The lowest rate for selling was in «HSBC» at 55.48 EGP .
Pound Sterling
The pound sterling rate against EGP stands at EGP 63.3868 for buying and EGP 63.6063 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest pound sterling rate for buying was in MID Bank at EGP 63.47.
While the lowest rate for selling was in «HSBC» at EGP 63.47.
Saudi Riyals
The Saudi riyal rate against EGP today in Egypt recorded EGP 12.6354 for buying and EGP 12.6722 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest rate for buying today was in «EBank» at EGP 12.68.
The lowest rate for selling was in «EGBANK» at EGP 12.66.
Kuwaiti Dinar
Kuwaiti dinar rate today in Egypt reached EGP 154.5024 for buying and EGP 155.1015 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest rate for buying the Kuwaiti dinar was in «saib» at EGP 154.67.
The lowest price for selling was in Crédit Agricole at EGP 154.77.
Emirati Dirham
The rate of Emirati dirham today in Egypt recorded EGP 12.9099 for buying and EGP 12.9486 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest rate for buying the Emirati dirham today was in «EBank» at EGP 12.96.
The lowest price for selling the Emirati dirham today was in «Emirates NBD» at EGP 12.93.
