The foreign exchange rate witnessed a stability at the beginning of Monday 22 December 2025 trading at Egypt's major bank. First Bank monitors foreign currency rates in major banks in Egypt: The US dollar rate against EGP recorded EGP 47.4751 for buying and EGP 47.6134 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website. The highest dollar rate for buying was in «FABMISR» at EGP 47.52. The lowest rate for selling was in Credit Agricole at EGP 47.49. The Euro rate against EGP recorded EGP 55.5839 for buying and EGP 55.7601 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank’s website. The highest Euro rate for buying was in Suez Canal Bank at 55.63 EGP. The lowest rate for selling was in «Emirates NBD» at 55.68 EGP . The pound sterling rate against EGP stands at EGP 63.4980 for buying and EGP 63.7211 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website. The highest pound sterling rate for buying was in «EBank» at EGP 63.56. While the lowest rate for selling was in «Emirates NBD» at EGP 63.65 . The Saudi riyal rate against EGP today in Egypt recorded EGP 12.6563 for buying and EGP 12.6949 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website. The highest rate for buying today was in «EBank» at EGP 12.67. The lowest rate for selling was in Faisal Islamic Bank at EGP 12.65. Kuwaiti dinar rate today in Egypt reached EGP 154.5264 for buying and EGP 155.0270 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
