Foreign exchange rates at the end of Tuesday trading

The foreign exchange rate witnessed an increase at the end of Tuesday 23 December 2025 trading at Egypt's major banks.
First Bank monitors foreign currency rates in major banks in Egypt:
U.S. dollar
The US dollar rate against EGP recorded EGP 47.4660 for buying and EGP 47.6026 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest dollar rate for buying was in «ABK-Egypt» at EGP 47.52.
The lowest rate for selling was in «Emirates NBD-Egypt» at EGP 47.48.
Euro
The Euro rate against EGP recorded EGP 55.9909 for buying and EGP 55.1568 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank’s website.
The highest Euro rate for buying was in «MID Bank» at EGP 55.95.
The lowest rate for selling was in «BDC» at EGP 55.87.
Pound Sterling
The pound sterling rate against EGP stands at EGP 64.0933 for buying and EGP 63.3016 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest pound sterling rate for buying was in «MID Bank» at EGP 63.98.
While the lowest rate for selling was in «BDC» at EGP 63.75.
Saudi Riyals
The Saudi riyal rate against EGP today in Egypt recorded EGP 12.6549 for buying and EGP 12.6920 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest rate for buying today was in «ABK-Egypt» at EGP 12.67.
The lowest rate for selling was in «EGBANK» at EGP 12.66.
Kuwaiti Dinar
Kuwaiti dinar rate today in Egypt reached EGP 154.5017 for buying and EGP 154.9967 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest rate for buying the Kuwaiti dinar was in «KFH-Egypt» at EGP 154.49.
The lowest price for selling was in «EBank» at EGP 154.77.
Emirati Dirham
The rate of Emirati dirham today in Egypt recorded EGP 12.9223 for buying and EGP 12.9633 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest rate for buying the Emirati dirham today was in «ABK-Egypt» at EGP 12.93.
The lowest price for selling the Emirati dirham today was in «EBank» at EGP 12.94.
