Foreign exchange rates at the end of Thuresday trading

The foreign exchange rates witnessed a slight decline at the close of trading on Thursday, 15 January 2026. Below is a report on foreign currency rates at Egyptian banks:

U.S. dollar

The US dollar rate against the Egyptian pound recorded EGP 47.2363 for buying and EGP 47.3363 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.

The highest rate for buying the dollar was in «saib» at EGP 47.26 at the close of banking transactions today.

The lowest rate for selling the dollar was in «Emirates NBD» Egypt at EGP 47.24 at the close of banking transactions today.

Euro

The euro rate against the Egyptian pound recorded EGP 54.9500 for buying and EGP 55.0710 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank website.

The highest rate for buying the euro was in «ADIB Egypt» at EGP 54.94 at the close of banking transactions today.

The lowest rate for selling the euro was in «Emirates NBD» Egypt at EGP 55.02 at the close of banking transactions today.

Pound Sterling

As for the pound sterling, its rate against the Egyptian pound today recorded EGP 63.3628 for buying and EGP 63.5158 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.

The highest rate for buying the pound sterling was in «BANK NXT» and «ADIB» at EGP 63.40 at the close of banking transactions today.

While the lowest rate for selling the pound sterling was in «Emirates NBD» Egypt at EGP 63.52 at the close of banking transactions today.

Saudi Riyals

The Saudi riyal rate today recorded EGP 12.5950 for buying and EGP 12.6223 for selling, according to data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.

The highest rate for buying the Saudi riyal was in «ADIB» at EGP 12.60 at the close of banking transactions today.

The lowest rate for selling the Saudi riyal was in Kuwait Finance House Egypt, «EBank», Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait–Egypt, «Bank NXT», «CIB», Housing and Development Bank, and the National Bank of Egypt at EGP 12.61 at the close of banking transactions today.

Kuwaiti Dinar

The Kuwaiti dinar rate today in Egypt recorded EGP 154.4427 for buying and EGP 154.8202 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.

The highest rate for buying the Kuwaiti dinar was in «saib» at EGP 154.52 at the close of banking transactions today.

The lowest rate for selling the Kuwaiti dinar was in «FABMISR» and «EBank» at EGP 154.72 at the close of banking transactions today.

Emirati Dirham

Meanwhile, the Emirati dirham rate today in Egypt recorded EGP 12.8597 for buying and EGP 12.8883 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.

The highest rate for buying the Emirati dirham today was in «EBank» at EGP 12.87 at the close of banking transactions today.

The lowest rate for selling the Emirati dirham today was in «Emirates NBD» Egypt at EGP 12.87 at the close of banking transactions today.
