The foreign exchange rate witnessed slightly changes at the end of thursday 5 February 2026 trading at Egypt's major banks.
First Bank monitors foreign currency rates in major banks in Egypt:
U.S. dollar
The US dollar fell slightly against EGP recorded EGP 46.9089 for buying and EGP 47.0086 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest dollar rate for buying was in «EBank» at EGP 47.06 .
The lowest rate for selling was in «ABK Egypt» at EGP 46.96 .
Euro
The Euro fell against EGP recorded EGP 55.3055 for buying and EGP 55.4325 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank’s website.
The highest Euro rate for buying was in «EBank» at EGP 55.47 .
The lowest rate for selling was in «Emirates-NBD» Bank at EGP 55.39 .
Pound Sterling
The pound sterling decline against EGP recorded at EGP 63.5990 for buying and EGP 63.7577 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest pound sterling rate for buying was in «EBank» at EGP 64.29 .
While the lowest rate for selling was in «MID BANK» at EGP 63.88 .
Saudi Riyals
The Saudi riyal against EGP today in Egypt recorded EGP 12.5084 for buying and EGP 12.5356 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest rate for buying today was in «EBank» at EGP 12.55 .
The lowest rate for selling was in «ALEXBANK», «EGBank» at EGP 12.51 .
Kuwaiti Dinar
Kuwaiti dinar decline today against EGP in Egypt reached EGP 153.4725 for buying and EGP 153.8490 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest rate for buying the Kuwaiti dinar was in «HSBC» at EGP 153.59 .
The lowest price for selling was in «ALEXBANK» at EGP 153.48 .
Emirati Dirham
The rate of Emirati dirham today in Egypt recorded EGP 12.7702 for buying and EGP 12.7995 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest rate for buying the Emirati dirham today was in «EBank» at EGP 12.81 .
The lowest price for selling the Emirati dirham today was in «ALEXBANK», Al Barka Bank at EGP 12.77 .
