Foreign exchange rates at the end of Thursday trading

Foreign exchange rates witnessed a decline at the end of Thursday’s trading session, 27 November 2025, in Egypt’s major banks. First Bank monitors the latest foreign currency rates across major banks operating in the Egyptian market as follows:
U.S. Dollar (USD)
The US dollar rate against the Egyptian pound recorded EGP 47.5806 for buying and EGP 47.7170 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt’s website.
The highest buying rate was recorded at EBank at EGP 47.69.
The lowest selling rate was recorded at Emirates NBD–Egypt at EGP 47.60.
Euro (EUR)
The euro rate against the Egyptian pound reached EGP 55.1221 for buying and EGP 55.2897 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank’s website.
The highest buying rate for the euro was at EBank at EGP 55.28.
The lowest selling rate was recorded at Emirates NBD–Egypt at EGP 55.28.
Pound Sterling (GBP)
The pound sterling recorded EGP 62.9348 for buying and EGP 63.1344 for selling, according to the latest official data from the Central Bank of Egypt.
The highest buying rate for the pound sterling was at EBank at EGP 63.15.
The lowest selling rate was recorded at Emirates NBD–Egypt at EGP 63.16.
Saudi Riyal (SAR)
The Saudi riyal rate stood at EGP 12.6831 for buying and EGP 12.7208 for selling, according to the Central Bank of Egypt.
The highest buying rate was recorded at EBank at EGP 12.72.
The lowest selling rate was recorded at EGBANK at EGP 12.69.
Kuwaiti Dinar (KWD)
The Kuwaiti dinar recorded EGP 154.9301 for buying and EGP 155.4249 for selling, according to the latest Central Bank data.
The highest buying rate was at KFH–Egypt at EGP 155.58.
The lowest selling rate was recorded at Housing and Development Bank at EGP 155.22.
Emirati Dirham (AED)
The Emirati dirham stood at EGP 12.9541 for buying and EGP 12.9927 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt’s website.
The highest buying rate of the dirham was recorded at ADIB–Egypt at EGP 12.98.
The lowest selling rate was recorded at Housing and Development Bank at EGP 12.97.
