The foreign exchange rate witnessed an increase at the end of Thursday 18 September 2025 trading at Egypt's major banks.
First Bank monitors foreign currency rates in major banks in Egypt:
U.S. dollar
The US dollar rate against EGP recorded EGP 48.1301 for buying and EGP 48.2666 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest dollar rate for buying was in MID Bank at EGP 48.17 .
The lowest rate for selling was in «NBK-Egypt» at EGP 48.17 .
Euro
The Euro rate against EGP recorded EGP 56.9668 for buying and EGP 57.1331 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank’s website.
The highest Euro rate for buying was in «EBank» at EGP 56.98 .
The lowest rate for selling was in «IDB» at EGP 56.18 .
Pound Sterling
The pound sterling rate against EGP stands at EGP 65.7313 for buying and EGP 65.9225 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest pound sterling rate for buying was in «EBank» at EGP 65.61 .
While the lowest rate for selling was in «ABK-Egypt» at EGP 65.76 .
Saudi Riyals
The Saudi riyal rate against EGP today in Egypt recorded EGP 12.8320 for buying and EGP 12.8690 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest rate for buying today was in «KFH-Egypt» at EGP 12.84 .
The lowest rate for selling was in Banque de Caire at EGP 12.85 .
Kuwaiti Dinar
Kuwaiti dinar rate today in Egypt reached EGP 157.7829 for buying and EGP 158.2614 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest rate for buying the Kuwaiti dinar was in «KFH-Egypt» at EGP 158.11 .
The lowest price for selling was in «ABK-Egypt» at EGP 158.10.
Emirati Dirham
The rate of Emirati dirham today in Egypt recorded EGP 13.1030 for buying and EGP 13.1416 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest rate for buying the Emirati dirham today was in «ADIB-Egypt» at EGP 13.11 .
The lowest price for selling the Emirati dirham today was in Banque de Caire at EGP 13.12 .
