The foreign exchange rate witnessed a decrease at the end of Thursday 2 October 2025 trading at Egypt's major banks.
First Bank monitors foreign currency rates in major banks in Egypt:
U.S. dollar
The US dollar rate against EGP recorded EGP 47.6939 for buying and EGP 47.8303 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest dollar rate for buying was in Banque de Caire at EGP 48.13 .
The lowest rate for selling was in «ABK-Egypt» at EGP 47.76 .
Euro
The Euro rate against EGP recorded EGP 56.0451 for buying and EGP 56.2149 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank’s website.
The highest Euro rate for buying was in Banque de Caire at EGP 56.50 .
The lowest rate for selling was in «ABK-Egypt» at EGP 56.16 .
Pound Sterling
The pound sterling rate against EGP stands at EGP 64.2913 for buying and EGP 64.4944 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest pound sterling rate for buying was in Banque de Caire at EGP 64.67 .
While the lowest rate for selling was in «NBK-Egypt» at EGP 64.50 .
Saudi Riyals
The Saudi riyal rate against EGP today in Egypt recorded EGP 12.7170 for buying and EGP 12.7541 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest rate for buying today was in Banque de Caire at EGP 12.79 .
The lowest rate for selling was in Credit Agricole-Egypt at EGP 12.74 .
Kuwaiti Dinar
Kuwaiti dinar rate today in Egypt reached EGP 156.0050 for buying and EGP 156.4922 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest rate for buying the Kuwaiti dinar was in Banque de Caire at EGP 157.29 .
The lowest price for selling was in «ABK-Egypt» at EGP 156.34 .
