The foreign exchange rate witnessed slightly changes at the end of thursday 5 March 2026 trading at Egypt's major banks.
First Bank monitors foreign currency rates in major banks in Egypt:
U.S. dollar
The US dollar against EGP recorded EGP 50.0918 for buying, while the sell price to EGP 50.1918 according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest dollar rate for buying was in «ADIB-Egypt», Suez Canal Bank at EGP 50.33 .
The lowest rate for selling was in «Emirates-NBD» at EGP 50.09 .
Euro
The Euro fell against EGP recorded EGP 58.1315 for buying and EGP 58.2626 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank’s website.
The highest Euro rate for buying was in «ADIB-Egypt» at EGP 58.29 .
The lowest rate for selling was in «ADCB», Al Barka Bank at EGP 58.41 .
Pound Sterling
The pound sterling fell against EGP recorded at EGP 66.8625 for buying and EGP 67.0211 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest pound sterling rate for buying was in «ADIB-Egypt» at EGP 66.97 .
While the lowest rate for selling was in «Emirates-NBD» at EGP 67.06 .
Saudi Riyals
The Saudi riyal rose against EGP today in Egypt recorded EGP 13.3443 for buying and EGP 13.3731 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest rate for buying today was in «ADIB-Egypt» at EGP 13.41 .
The lowest rate for selling was in Al Barka Bank at EGP 13.36 .
Kuwaiti Dinar
Kuwaiti dinar fell against EGP in Egypt reached EGP 163.5649 for buying, EGP 163.9450 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest rate for buying the Kuwaiti dinar was in «Saib» at EGP 164.32 .
The lowest price for selling was in Credit Agricole Bank at EGP 163.76 .
Emirati Dirham
The rate of Emirati dirham today in Egypt recorded EGP 13.6363 for buying and EGP 13.6692 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
