Foreign exchange rates at the end of Thursday trading

The foreign exchange rate witnessed an increase at the end of Thursday 25 December 2025 trading at Egypt's major banks.

First Bank monitors foreign currency rates in major banks in Egypt:

U.S. dollar

The US dollar rate against EGP recorded EGP 47.5315 for buying and EGP 47.6681 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.

The highest dollar rate for buying was in «ADIB-Egypt» at EGP 47.57.

The lowest rate for selling was in «Emirates NBD-Egypt» at EGP 47.55.

Euro

The Euro rate against EGP recorded EGP 56.0016 for buying and EGP 56.1864 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank’s website.

The highest Euro rate for buying was in «BDC» at EGP 56.01.

The lowest rate for selling was in «Emirates NBD-Egypt» at EGP 56.04.

Pound Sterling

The pound sterling rate against EGP stands at EGP 64.2768 for buying and EGP 64.4664 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.

The highest pound sterling rate for buying was in «ADIB-Egypt» at EGP 64.25.

While the lowest rate for selling was in «QNB-Egypt» at EGP 64.32.

Saudi Riyals

The Saudi riyal rate against EGP today in Egypt recorded EGP 12.6724 for buying and EGP 12.7095 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.

The highest rate for buying today was in «ABK-Egypt» at EGP 12.68.

The lowest rate for selling was in «EGBANK» at EGP 12.68.

Kuwaiti Dinar

Kuwaiti dinar rate today in Egypt reached EGP 154.6593 for buying and EGP 155.2607 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.

The highest rate for buying the Kuwaiti dinar was in «KFH-Egypt» at EGP 155.77.

The lowest price for selling was in «QNB-Egypt» at EGP 154.96.

Emirati Dirham

The rate of Emirati dirham today in Egypt recorded EGP 12.9397 for buying and EGP 12.9805 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.

The highest rate for buying the Emirati dirham today was in «EBank» at EGP 12.95.

The lowest price for selling the Emirati dirham today was in «QNB-Egypt» at EGP 12.95.
