The foreign exchange rate witnessed slightly changes at the end of sunday 8 March 2026 trading at Egypt's major banks.
First Bank monitors foreign currency rates in major banks in Egypt:
U.S. dollar
The US dollar rose against EGP recorded EGP 52.1142 for buying, while the sell price to EGP 52.2142 according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest dollar rate for buying was in «ADIB-Egypt», «NBK-Egypt», Suez Canal Bank at EGP 52.15 .
The lowest rate for selling was in «HDB», «EBank» at EGP 50.09 .
Euro
The Euro rose against EGP recorded EGP 60.5462 for buying and EGP 60.6676 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank’s website.
The highest Euro rate for buying was in «NBK-Egypt» at EGP 60.22 .
The lowest rate for selling was in «EBank» at EGP 58.33 .
Pound Sterling
The pound sterling rose against EGP recorded at EGP 69.8903 for buying and EGP 70.0401 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest pound sterling rate for buying was in Al Barka Bank at EGP 69.51 .
While the lowest rate for selling was in «HDB» at EGP 67.19 .
Saudi Riyals
The Saudi riyal rose against EGP today in Egypt recorded EGP 13.8845 for buying and EGP 13.9126 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest rate for buying today was in «ADIB-Egypt» at EGP 13.90 .
The lowest rate for selling was in «HDB» at EGP 13.37 .
Kuwaiti Dinar
Kuwaiti dinar fell against EGP in Egypt reached EGP 170.2243 for buying, EGP 170.6067 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest rate for buying the Kuwaiti dinar was in «Saib» at EGP 170.84 .
