The foreign exchange rate witnessed slightly changes at the end of thursday 26 March 2026 trading at Egypt's major banks.
First Bank monitors foreign currency rates in major banks in Egypt:
U.S. dollar
The US dollar rose against EGP recorded EGP 52.7577 for buying, while the sell price to EGP 52.8566 according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest dollar rate for buying was in «FABMISR», Suez Canal Bank at EGP 52.85 .
The lowest rate for selling was in «Emirates-NBD» at EGP 52.75 .
Euro
The Euro against EGP recorded EGP 60.8455 for buying and EGP 60.9753 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank’s website.
The highest Euro rate for buying was in «CIB» at EGP 60.96 .
The lowest rate for selling was in «Emirates-NBD» at EGP 61.04 .
Pound Sterling
The pound sterling fell against EGP recorded at EGP 70.3524 for buying and EGP 70.5107 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest pound sterling rate for buying was in «CIB» at EGP 70.43 .
While the lowest rate for selling was in «Emirates-NBD» at EGP 70.54 .
Saudi Riyals
The Saudi riyal against EGP today in Egypt recorded EGP 14.0620 for buying and EGP 14.0898 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest rate for buying today was in «NBK-Egypt», «KFH-Egypt», «ADIB-Egypt» at EGP 14.06 .
The lowest rate for selling was in «Emirates-NBD», «EBank» at EGP 14.01 .
Kuwaiti Dinar
Kuwaiti dinar rose against EGP in Egypt reached EGP 172.0173 for buying, EGP 172.3959 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest rate for buying the Kuwaiti dinar was in «Saib» at EGP 172.12 .
The lowest price for selling was in Credit Agricole Bank at EGP 172.29 .
Emirati Dirham
The rate of Emirati dirham today in Egypt recorded EGP 14.3621 for buying and EGP 14.3949 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest rate for buying the Emirati dirham today was in «ADIB-Egypt» at EGP 14.37 .
