The foreign exchange rate witnessed rise at the end of thursday 2 April 2026 trading at Egypt's major banks.
First Bank monitors foreign currency rates in major banks in Egypt:
U.S. dollar
The US dollar rose against EGP recorded EGP 54.3014 for buying, while the sell price to EGP 54.4014 according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest dollar rate for buying was in «ADIB-Egypt», Suez Canal Bank at EGP 54.45 .
The lowest rate for selling was in «Emirates-NBD» at EGP 54.30 .
Euro
The Euro rose against EGP recorded EGP 62.5878 for buying and EGP 62.7139 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank’s website.
The highest Euro rate for buying was in «ADIB-Egypt», Suez Canal Bank at EGP 62.70 .
The lowest rate for selling was in «Emirates-NBD» at EGP 62.02 .
Pound Sterling
The pound sterling rose against EGP recorded at EGP 71.7376 for buying and EGP 71.8914 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest pound sterling rate for buying was in «ADIB-Egypt», Suez Canal Bank at EGP 71.88 .
While the lowest rate for selling was in «Emirates-NBD» at EGP 72.33 .
Saudi Riyals
The Saudi riyal rose against EGP today in Egypt recorded EGP 14.4649 for buying and EGP 14.4935 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest rate for buying today was in «ADIB-Egypt» at EGP 14.50 .
The lowest rate for selling was in «Emirates-NBD» at EGP 14.48 .
Kuwaiti Dinar
Kuwaiti dinar rose against EGP in Egypt reached EGP 176.9351 for buying, EGP 177.3187 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest rate for buying the Kuwaiti dinar was in «Saib» at EGP 176.97 .
The lowest price for selling was in Credit Agricole Bank at EGP 177.19 .
Emirati Dirham
The rate of fell Emirati dirham rose today in Egypt recorded EGP 14.7823 for buying and EGP 14.8156 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest rate for buying the Emirati dirham today was in «ADIB-Egypt» at EGP 14.82 .
The lowest price for selling the Emirati dirham today was in «Emirates-NBD», «EBank» at EGP 14.80 .
