Foreign exchange rates at the beginning of Monday trading

The foreign exchange rate witnessed an stability at the beginning of Monday 6 April 2026 trading at Egypt's major banks.

First Bank monitors foreign currency rates in major banks in Egypt:

US Dollar

The average exchange rate of the US dollar rose against the Egyptian pound, reaching EGP 54.4363 for buying and EGP 54.5363 for selling, according to the latest data from the Central Bank of Egypt.

The highest buying price for the dollar was recorded at «ADIB-Egypt», «Saib», «ABK-Egypt», Suez Canal Bank at EGP 54.47 by the end of the session.

The lowest selling price was recorded at «Emirates-NBD» at EGP 54.30.

Euro

The euro also increased, recording EGP 62.6834 for buying and EGP 62.8203 for selling, according to the latest data from the Central Bank of Egypt.

The highest buying price was recorded at «Saib» at EGP 62.72.

The lowest selling price was recorded at «Emirates-NBD» at EGP 62.85.

Pound Sterling

The British pound remained stable, recording EGP 71.7960 for buying and EGP 71.9770 for selling, according to the latest data from the Central Bank of Egypt.

The highest buying price was recorded at «Saib» at EGP 71.85.

The lowest selling price was recorded at «Emirates-NBD» at EGP 72.06.

Saudi Riyal

The Saudi riyal remained stable at EGP 14.4970 for buying and EGP 14.5256 for selling, according to the latest data from the Central Bank of Egypt.

The highest buying price was recorded at «ADIB-Egypt», «ABK-Egypt» at EGP 14.51.

The lowest selling price was recorded at Al Baraka Bank at EGP 14.51.

Kuwaiti Dinar

The Kuwaiti dinar increased to EGP 177.3169 for buying and EGP 177.7005 for selling, according to the latest data from the Central Bank of Egypt.

The highest buying price was recorded at «Saib» at EGP 177.43.

The lowest selling price was recorded at «CIB» at EGP 177.68.

UAE Dirham

The UAE dirham remained stable at EGP 14.8182 for buying and EGP 14.8495 for selling, according to the latest data from the Central Bank of Egypt.

The highest buying price was recorded at «ADIB-Egypt» at EGP 14.83.

The lowest selling price was recorded at «Emirates-NBD» at EGP 14.83.
