The foreign exchange rate witnessed changes at the end of tuesday 7 April 2026 trading at Egypt's major banks.
First Bank monitors foreign currency rates in major banks in Egypt:
U.S. dollar
The US dollar rose against EGP recorded EGP 54.6537 for buying, while the sell price to EGP 54.7537 according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest dollar rate for buying was in «ADIB-Egypt», «ABK-Egypt», «NXT Bank», «FABMISR», Suez Canal Bank at EGP 54.70 .
The lowest rate for selling was in «NBK-Egypt» at EGP 54.51 .
Euro
The Euro rose against EGP recorded EGP 63.2016 for buying and EGP 63.3281 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank’s website.
The highest Euro rate for buying was in «MID Bank» at EGP 62.73 .
The lowest rate for selling was in «NBK-Egypt» at EGP 62.94 .
Pound Sterling
The pound sterling rose against EGP recorded at EGP 72.4271 for buying and EGP 72.5979 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest pound sterling rate for buying was in «MID Bank» at EGP 72.46 .
While the lowest rate for selling was in «Emirates-NBD» at EGP 72.19 .
Saudi Riyals
The Saudi riyal against EGP today in Egypt recorded EGP 14.5538 for buying and EGP 14.5819 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest rate for buying today was in «ADIB-Egypt», «ABK-Egypt» at EGP 14.57 .
The lowest rate for selling was in «Emirates-NBD» at EGP 14.57 .
Kuwaiti Dinar
