The foreign exchange rate witnessed changes at the end of thursday 9 April 2026 trading at Egypt's major banks.
First Bank monitors foreign currency rates in major banks in Egypt:
U.S. dollar
The US dollar fell against EGP recorded EGP 53.086 for buying, while the sell price to EGP 53.1826 according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest dollar rate for buying was in «EGBank» at EGP 53.29 .
The lowest rate for selling was in «Emirates-NBD» at EGP 53.09 .
Euro
The Euro fell against EGP recorded EGP 62.0004 for buying and EGP 62.1226 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank’s website.
The highest Euro rate for buying was in «EGBank» at EGP 62.08 .
The lowest rate for selling was in «ADCB», «EBank» at EGP 62.94 .
Pound Sterling
The pound sterling fell against EGP recorded at EGP 71.1890 for buying and EGP 71.3391 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest pound sterling rate for buying was in «AAIB» at EGP 71.29 .
While the lowest rate for selling was in «EBank» at EGP 71.29 .
Saudi Riyals
The Saudi riyal fell against EGP today in Egypt recorded EGP 14.1448 for buying and EGP 14.1729 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest rate for buying today was in «ADIB-Egypt», «ABK-Egypt», «EBank» at EGP 14.15 .
The lowest rate for selling was in «Emirates-NBD» at EGP 14.16 .
Kuwaiti Dinar
Kuwaiti dinar fell against EGP in Egypt reached EGP 173.1612 for buying, EGP 173.5440 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest rate for buying the Kuwaiti dinar was in «HSBC» at EGP 173.28 .
The lowest price for selling was in Credit Agricole Bank at EGP 173.38 .
Emirati Dirham
The rate of Emirati dirham today in Egypt recorded EGP 14.4505 for buying and EGP 14.4837 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
