Foreign exchange rates at the beginning of Wednesday trading

The foreign exchange rate witnessed stability at the beginning of Wednesday 22 April 2026 trading at Egypt's major banks. We monitor foreign currency rates in major banks in Egypt through the following report:

U.S. dollar

The average US dollar rate fell against EGP yesterday recording EGP 51.7249 for buying, while the sell price recorded EGP 51.8257 according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.

The highest dollar rate for buying was in at «ADIB-Egypt» EGP 51.95 .

The lowest rate for selling was in «Emirates-NBD» at EGP 51.73 .

Euro

The average Euro rate fell against EGP yesterday recording EGP 60.8284 for buying and EGP 60.9574 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank’s website.

The highest Euro rate for buying was in «ADIB-Egypt» at EGP 61.16 .

The lowest rate for selling was in «Emirates-NBD» at EGP 60.99 .

Pound Sterling

The pound sterling fell against EGP yesterday recorded at EGP 69.9372 for buying and EGP 70.0787 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.

The highest pound sterling rate for buying was in «ADIB-Egypt» at EGP 70.21 .

While the lowest rate for selling was in «Emirates-NBD» at EGP 70.04 .

Saudi Riyals

The Saudi riyal against EGP fell at the end of yesterday's trading recording EGP 13.7911 for buying and EGP 13.8187 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.

The highest rate for buying today was in «ADIB-Egypt» at EGP 13.85 .

The lowest rate for selling was in «Emirates-NBD» at EGP 13.80 .

Kuwaiti Dinar

Kuwaiti dinar fell against EGP in Egypt reached EGP 168.8148 for buying, EGP 169.1992 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.

The highest rate for buying the Kuwaiti dinar was in «HSBC» at EGP 169.89 .

The lowest price for selling was in «Banque Misr» at EGP 169.50 .

Emirati Dirham

The rate of Emirati dirham fell at the end of yesterday's trading recorded EGP 14.0813 for buying and EGP 14.1653 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.

The highest rate for buying the Emirati dirham today was in «ADIB-Egypt» at EGP 14.14 .

The lowest price for selling the Emirati dirham today was in «Emirates-NBD», Credit Agricole Bank, Al Barka Bank at EGP 14.10 .
