US Dollar Declines to EGP 52.50 at Close of Trading on Monday, April 27
The average US dollar exchange rate rose against the Egyptian pound by the end of trading on Monday, April 27, in Egyptian banks. The average buying rate reached EGP 52.5037, compared to EGP 52.7328 at the close of trading last Sunday, while the average selling rate recorded EGP 52.6037 versus EGP 52.7328, according to the latest data from the Central Bank of Egypt. The highest buying rate for the dollar was recorded at «ADIB» at approximately EGP 52.60, while the selling price reached EGP 52.70 by the end of the day. At «Housing & Development Bank», the dollar recorded a buying price of around EGP 52.57 and a selling price of EGP 52.67 at the close of trading. At «Suez Canal Bank» and «Bank NXT», the buying rate reached approximately EGP 52.50, while the selling price stood at EGP 52.60. Meanwhile, the buying price at «National Bank of Kuwait» and «SAIB» reached around EGP 52.53, with a selling price of EGP 52.63 by the end of trading.
