Foreign exchange rates at the beginning of Wednesday trading
The foreign exchange rate witnessed stability at the beginning of wednesday 29 April 2026 trading at Egypt's major banks.
We monitor foreign currency rates in major banks in Egypt through the following report:
U.S. dollar
The US dollar rose against EGP recorded EGP 52.7929 for buying, while the sell price to EGP 52.8929 according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest dollar rate for buying was in «MID Bank» at EGP 52.88 .
The lowest rate for selling was in «ADCB» at EGP 52.58 .
Euro
The Euro rose against EGP recorded EGP 61.7465 for buying and EGP 61.8741 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank’s website.
The highest Euro rate for buying was in «NBK – Egypt» at EGP 61.75 .
The lowest rate for selling was in «ADCB» at EGP 61.66 .
Pound Sterling
The pound sterling rose against EGP recorded at EGP 71.1806 for buying and EGP 71.3313 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest pound sterling rate for buying was in «NBK – Egypt», «ADIB – Egypt» at EGP 71.24 .
While the lowest rate for selling was in «ADCB» at EGP 71.20 .
Saudi Riyals
The Saudi riyal rose against EGP today in Egypt recorded EGP 14.0751 for buying and EGP 14.1025 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest rate for buying today was in «ABK-Egypt» at EGP 14.09 .
The lowest rate for selling was in «ADCB» at EGP 14.03 .
Kuwaiti Dinar
Kuwaiti dinar rose against EGP in Egypt reached EGP 172.2723 for buying, EGP 172.6550 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest rate for buying the Kuwaiti dinar was in «HSBC» at EGP 172.35 .
The lowest price for selling was in «EGBank» at EGP 172.42 .
Emirati Dirham
The rate of Emirati dirham today in Egypt recorded EGP 14.3724 for buying and EGP 14.4005 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest rate for buying the Emirati dirham today was in «ADIB-Egypt», «EBank» at EGP 14.39 .
The lowest price for selling the Emirati dirham today was in «ADCB» at EGP 14.32 .
