EGX30 beginning Tuesday with 0.66% Decrease in benchmark index

The market capitalization of listed shares in the Egyptian Exchange’s main market recorded EGP 3.669 trillion at the start of trading today, Tuesday, May 5.

The main index, EGX30, opened today’s session at 51.973 points and declined by 0.66% in early trading to reach 51.632 points.

Investors traded on 218 stocks, of which 56 advanced, 125 declined, and 37 remained unchanged.

Trading volume reached approximately 461 million shares executed through 60,000 transactions, with a total trading value of about EGP 2.15 billion.
