EGX30 End Tuesday with 0.65% Increase in benchmark index

The market capitalization of listed equities on the Egyptian Exchange’s main market reached EGP 3.705 trillion at the close of trading on Tuesday, May 5, 2026.
The benchmark EGX30 increased by 1.12% to close at 52,557 points.
Investors traded 219 stocks, with approximately 87 gaining, 112 declining, and 20 remaining unchanged.
Trading volume reached around 1.92 billion shares executed through 213.89 thousand transactions, bringing the total trading value to approximately EGP 10.10 billion.
