Egyptian Exchange Opens Tuesday, June 9 Session with EGX30 Up 1.11%

The market capitalization of listed shares on the Egyptian Exchange’s main market reached EGP 3.769 trillion at the start of trading on Tuesday, June 9.

The benchmark EGX30 index opened the session at 51,882 points and rose by 1.11% in early trading to reach 52,458 points.

Investors traded 216 stocks, of which 156 advanced, 23 declined, while 35 remained unchanged.

Trading volume amounted to approximately 825 million shares executed through 64,000 transactions, with a total trading value of around EGP 2.89 billion.
