EGX30 Falls 0.25% at the Opening of Monday’s Trading Session on June 8
The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) started Monday’s trading session, June 8, with a decline in its benchmark index, EGX30, by 0.25%.
The market capitalization of listed shares in the main market stood at EGP 3.755 trillion at the beginning of the trading session.
The EGX30 index opened the session at 52,164 points and fell by 0.25% in early trading to reach 52,034 points.
A total of 214 stocks were traded, of which 66 advanced, 110 declined, while 38 remained unchanged.
Trading volume reached approximately 863 million shares executed through 54,000 transactions, with a total trading value of around EGP 3.617 billion.
