Currency rates at the start of Wednesday trading

The foreign exchange rates witnessed stability at the start of Wednesday 17 June 2026 trading at Egyptian banks. First Bank monitors currency rates in Egyptian banks through the following report:

US Dollar

The average price of the US dollar recorded a decrease against the Egyptian pound yesterday, reaching EGP 50.1723 for buying and EGP 50.2723 for selling, according to the latest data from the Central Bank of Egypt.

The highest buying price was recorded at «IDB» at EGP 50.40 at the start of Egyptian bank trading today.

The lowest selling price was recorded at «Emirates NBD» at EGP 50.17at the start of Egyptian bank trading today.

Euro

The euro recorded a decrease against the Egyptian pound yesterday, reaching EGP 58.1948 for buying and EGP 58.3159 for selling, according to the latest data from the Central Bank.

The highest buying price was at «ADIB» at EGP 58.33 at the start of Egyptian bank trading today.

The lowest selling price was at «Emirates NBD» at EGP 58.26 at the start of Egyptian bank trading today.

British Pound

The British pound also decrease against the Egyptian pound yesterday, reaching EGP 67.2961 for buying and EGP 67.4503 for selling, according to the latest data from the Central Bank of Egypt.

The highest buying price was at «ADIB» at EGP 67.48 at the start of Egyptian bank trading today.

The lowest selling price was at «Emirates NBD» at EGP 67.38 at the start of Egyptian bank trading today.

Saudi Riyal

The Saudi riyal recorded a decrease by the close of trading yesterday, reaching EGP 13.3693 for buying and EGP 13.3967 for selling, according to the latest data from the Central Bank of Egypt.

The highest buying price was at «ADIB» at EGP 13.43 at the start of Egyptian bank trading today.

The lowest selling price was at «Emirates NBD»  at EGP 13.38 at the start of Egyptian bank trading today.

Kuwaiti Dinar

The Kuwaiti dinar recorded an decrease by the close of trading in Egypt yesterday, reaching EGP 163.4276 for buying and EGP 163.8067 for selling, according to the latest data from the Central Bank of Egypt.

The highest buying price was at «HSBC» at EGP 163.82 at the start of Egyptian bank trading today.

The lowest selling price was at «FAB» at EGP 162.90 at the start of Egyptian bank trading today.

UAE Dirham

The UAE dirham recorded a decrease by the close of trading in Egypt yesterday, reaching EGP 13.6601 for buying and EGP 13.6881 for selling, according to the latest data from the Central Bank of Egypt.

The highest buying price was at «ADIB» at EGP 13.72 at the start of Egyptian bank trading today.

The lowest selling price was recorded at «Emirates NBD» at EGP 13.67 at the start of Egyptian bank trading today.
