Currency rates at the start of Tuesday trading

The foreign exchange rates witnessed stability at the start of Tuesday 7 July 2026 trading at Egyptian banks. First Bank monitors currency rates in Egyptian banks through the following report:

US Dollar

The average price of the US dollar recorded a decrease against the Egyptian pound yesterday, reaching EGP 48.80 for buying and EGP 48.91 for selling, according to the latest data from the Central Bank of Egypt.

The highest buying price was recorded at «ADIB» at EGP 48.94 at the start of Egyptian bank trading today.

The lowest selling price was recorded at «Emirates NBD» at EGP 48.82 at the start of Egyptian bank trading today.

Euro

The euro recorded a decrease against the Egyptian pound yesterday, reaching EGP 55.72 for buying and EGP 55.84 for selling, according to the latest data from the Central Bank.

The highest buying price was at «ADIB» at EGP 565.93 at the start of Egyptian bank trading today.

The lowest selling price was at «Emirates NBD» at EGP 55.85 at the start of Egyptian bank trading today.

British Pound

The British pound also decrease against the Egyptian pound yesterday, reaching EGP 65.13 for buying and EGP 65.28 for selling, according to the latest data from the Central Bank of Egypt.

The highest buying price was at «SAIB» at EGP 65.37 at the start of Egyptian bank trading today.

The lowest selling price was at «Credit Agricole» at EGP 65.24 at the start of Egyptian bank trading today.

Saudi Riyal

The Saudi riyal recorded a decrease by the close of trading yesterday, reaching EGP 12.99 for buying and EGP 13.02  for selling, according to the latest data from the Central Bank of Egypt.

The highest buying price was at «ADIB» at EGP 13.04 at the start of Egyptian bank trading today.

The lowest selling price was at «Faisal»  at EGP 13.01 at the start of Egyptian bank trading today.

Kuwaiti Dinar

The Kuwaiti dinar recorded an decrease by the close of trading in Egypt yesterday, reaching EGP 158.65 for buying and EGP 159.02 for selling, according to the latest data from the Central Bank of Egypt.

The highest buying price was at «HSBC» at EGP 159.34 at the start of Egyptian bank trading today.

The lowest selling price was at «Suez Canal» at EGP 157.47 at the start of Egyptian bank trading today.

UAE Dirham

The UAE dirham recorded a decrease by the close of trading in Egypt yesterday, reaching EGP 13.29 for buying and EGP 13.32 for selling, according to the latest data from the Central Bank of Egypt.

The highest buying price was at «ADIB» at EGP 13.32 at the start of Egyptian bank trading today.

The lowest selling price was recorded at «CIB» at EGP 13.30 at the start of Egyptian bank trading today.
