«ADIB» and «Suez Canal» Shares Recorded the Biggest Gains Among Listed Banks at the Close of Today's Trading

Trading data from today's session on the Egyptian Exchange showed mixed performance among listed banking stocks, with 5 bank shares closing higher, while 7 stocks ended the session in negative territory.
«ADIB-Egypt» topped the list of gainers after its share price rose by 1.28%, closing at 52.15 EGP, compared with 51.49 EGP at the opening of trading.
Suez Canal Bank ranked second among the best-performing banking stocks, gaining 0.99% to close at 38.88 EGP, up from 38.50 EGP at the open. It was followed by Commercial International Bank, whose share price increased by 0.89% to close at 141.25 EGP, compared with 140.00 EGP at the beginning of the session.
The United Bank advanced 0.81%, closing at 13.77 EGP, versus an opening price of 13.66 EGP, while Faisal Islamic Bank (USD-denominated shares) edged up 0.10% to close at 0.97 USD.
On the downside, Faisal Islamic Bank – Egypt (EGP-denominated shares) declined 0.08%, closing at 37.02 EGP, compared with 37.05 EGP at the opening.
«QNB-Egypt» slipped 0.12% to close at EGP 56.77 EGP, versus 56.84 EGP at the start of trading. It was followed by the Export Development Bank of Egypt, whose share price fell 0.70% to 19.80 EGP, compared with an opening price of 19.94 EGP.
Housing & Development Bank declined 0.85% to close at 82.00 EGP, versus 82.70 EGP at the open, while Al Baraka Bank Egypt dropped 1.59% to 22.22 EGP, compared with 22.58 EGP at the beginning of the session.
Meanwhile, Egyptian Gulf Bank «EG Bank» recorded the steepest decline of the session, falling 2.64% to close at 0.48 USD, compared with 0.493 USD at the opening.
