«ADIB» and «Housing & Development» Lead Banking Stocks Gainers at the Close of Today's Trading Session

Trading data from today's session on the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) showed mixed performance among listed banking stocks, with four stocks closing higher, seven declining, and one remaining unchanged.
ADIB Egypt topped the list of gainers after its share price rose 1.42% to close at 52.85 EGP, compared with 52.11 EGP at the opening of the session.
Housing & Development Bank ranked second among the top-performing banking stocks, advancing 0.72% to close at 83.00 EGP, up from 82.41 EGP at the open. It was followed by Commercial International Bank, whose share price gained 0.50% to close at 141.00 EGP, compared with 140.30 EGP at the beginning of trading.
Egyptian Gulf Bank also recorded gains, rising 0.42% to close at 0.477 USD, versus 0.475 USD at the opening.
Meanwhile, Export Development Bank of Egypt ended the session unchanged at 20.00 EGP, matching its opening price.
On the downside, Faisal Islamic Bank of Egypt (EGP-denominated shares) declined 0.27% to close at 36.55 EGP, compared with 36.65 EGP at the opening. It was followed by Faisal Islamic Bank (USD-denominated shares), which fell 0.31% to 0.966 USD, versus 0.969 USD at the start of trading.
The United Bank dropped 1.02% to close at 13.56 EGP, compared with 13.70 EGP at the open. QNB Egypt followed with a 1.27% decline, ending the session at 55.29 EGP, down from 56.00 EGP at the opening.
Crédit Agricole Egypt fell 1.33% to close at 23.77 EGP, compared with 24.09 EGP at the start of trading. Al Baraka Bank Egypt declined 1.44%, closing at 21.97 EGP, versus 22.29 EGP at the opening.
Suez Canal Bank recorded the steepest decline among listed banking stocks, falling 1.96% to close at 37.57 EGP, compared with 38.32 EGP at the opening of the session.
