«EBank» and «Housing & Development» Lead Gains Among EGX-Listed Banking Stocks at Today's Close

Trading data from today's session on the Egyptian Exchange showed mixed performance among listed banking stocks, with four bank shares closing higher, while eight stocks ended the session lower.
Export Development Bank of Egypt topped the list of gainers after its share price rose by 1.01%, closing at 20.00 EGP, compared with 19.80 EGP at the opening of trading.
Housing & Development Bank ranked second among the best-performing banking stocks, gaining 0.50% to close at 82.41 EGP, up from 82.00 EGP at the open. It was followed by Al Baraka Bank Egypt, whose share price increased by 0.32% to close at 22.29 EGP, compared with 22.22 EGP at the beginning of the session.
«Crédit Agricole» also advanced 0.17%, closing at 24.09 EGP, versus an opening price of 24.05 EGP.
On the downside, ADIB Egypt slipped 0.08%, closing at 52.11 EGP, compared with 52.15 EGP at the opening. It was followed by Faisal Islamic Bank (USD-denominated shares), which edged down 0.10% to close at 0.969 USD, versus 0.970 USD at the start of trading.
The United Bank declined 0.51% to close at 13.70 EGP, compared with \13.77 EGP at the open. Meanwhile, Commercial International Bank fell 0.67%, closing at 140.30 EGP, versus 141.25 EGP at the beginning of the session.
Faisal Islamic Bank of Egypt (EGP-denominated shares) dropped 1.00% to close at 36.65 EGP, compared with EGP 37.02 at the opening. It was followed by Egyptian Gulf Bank, whose USD-denominated shares declined 1.04% to 0.475 USD, compared with 0.480 USD at the start of trading.
«QNB-Egypt» fell 1.36%, closing at 56.00 EGP, versus 56.77 EGP at the opening, while Suez Canal Bank recorded the second-largest decline of the session, dropping 1.44% to close at 38.32 EGP, compared with an opening price of 38.88 EGP.
