alBaraka-Egypt’s net profit jumps by 55%, records EGP1.755 bn during 2022
The financial statements of Al Baraka Bank Egypt, revealed an increase in the bank’s net profits, with a growth rate of 54.99%, to record 1.755 billion pounds during 2022, compared to 1.133 million pounds during 2021.
Total loans and facilities to customers jumped by 46.15% during 2022, an increase of 11.172 billion pounds, to reach 35.380 billion pounds at the end of December 2022, compared to 24.208 billion at the end of December 2021.
Total deposits portfolio grew by 2.55% over the past year, an increase of 1.851 billion pounds, to record 74.420 billion pounds at the end of December 2022, compared to 72.569 billion at the end of December 2021.
The bank's total assets also grew by 5.90% during 2022, to record 87.225 billion pounds at the end of December 2022, compared to 82.368 billion pounds at the end of December 2021.
