Foreign exchange rates at the beginning of Wednesday’s trading
The foreign exchange rate witnessed an increase at the beginning of Wednesday 22 February trading at Egypt's major banks.
First Bank monitors foreign currency rates in major banks in Egypt:
U.S. dollar
The US dollar rate against EGP recorded EGP 30.5479 for buying and EGP 30.6537 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest dollar rate for buying was ADIB Bank Egypt at EGP 30.60.
The lowest rate for selling was National Bank of Egypt and Banque Misr at EGP 30.55.
Euro
The Euro rate against EGP recorded EGP 32.5397 for buying and EGP32.6646 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank’s website.
The highest Euro rate for buying was in ADIB bank Egypt at EGP 32.58The lowest rate for selling was in National Bank of Egypt at EGP 32.63.
Pound Sterling
The pound sterling rate against EGP stands at EGP 36.9813 for buying and EGP 37.1125 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest pound sterling rate for buying in ADIB Egypt at EGP37.02.
While the lowest rate for selling in National Bank of Egypt and Banque Misr at EGP36.89.
Saudi Riyals
The Saudi riyal rate against EGP 8.1437 today in Egypt recorded EGP8.1730 for buying and EGP 8.16for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest rate for buying today was in ADIB-Egypt was at EGP8.15.
The lowest rate for selling was in the National Bank of Egypt and Banque Misr at EGP 8.14.
Kuwaiti Dinar
Kuwaiti dinar rate today in Egypt reached EGP 99.6313 for buying and EGP100.0154 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
