Foreign exchange rates at the beginning of Wednesday’s trading
The Foreign exchange rate witnessed a divergence in the beginning of Wednesday’s trading at Egypt's major banks.
First Bank monitors foreign currency rates in major banks in Egypt:
U.S. dollar
The US dollar rate against EGP recorded EGP24.7279for buying and EGP24.8065 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest dollar rate for buying was in ADIB Egypt at EGP 24.76.
The lowest rate for selling was in the National Bank of Egypt and Banque Misr at the level of EGP 24.73
Euro
The Euro rate against EGP recorded EGP 26.0360 for buying and EGP 26.1277 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank’s website.
The highest Euro rate for buying was in the MIDBank EGP26.35. The lowest rate for selling was in CIB at EGP 26.42.
Pound Sterling
The pound sterling rate against EGP stands at EGP 29.5053 pounds for buying and EGP 29.6079 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest pound sterling rate for buying in the CIB at EGP29.75
While the lowest rate for selling was in National Bank of Egypt and CIB at EGP 29.88
Saudi Riyals
The Saudi riyal rate against EGP today in Egypt recorded EGP 6.5766 for buying and EGP6.5990 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest rate for buying today was in ADIB-Egypt was at EGP6.59
The lowest rate for selling was in the National Bank of Egypt and Banque Misr at EGP 6.58
Kuwaiti Dinar
Kuwaiti dinar rate today in Egypt reached EGP 80.6914 for buying and EGP 80.9713 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest rate for buying the Kuwaiti dinar was in SAIB was at EGP80.62. The lowest price for selling was in the National Bank of Egypt came at EGP80.73
Emirati Dirham
The rate of Emirati dirham today in Egypt recorded EGP 6.7325 for buying and EGP 6.7542 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest rate for buying the Emirati dirham today in Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank Egypt was at EGP6.74
The lowest price for selling the Emirati dirham today was recorded in the National Bank of Egypt at EGP6.73
