CBE Records A Net Profit Of EGP1.058 bn During December 2022
Financial statements of Central Bank of Egypt, which ended in December 2022, revealed that the bank recorded a net profit of EGP 1.085 bn during December 2022, the bank’s total assets reached EGP 3.574 Tn at the end of last December.
Gold balances increased by 4.21% during December 2022, to record EGP180.964 bn, compared to EGP173.658 bn at the end of the previous November.
Total balances with banks rose to EGP261.138 bn at the end of December 2022, compared to EGP249.026 bn at the end of last November, with a monthly growth rate of 4.86%.
While balances with IMF recorded EGP 7.053 bn at the end of last December, compared to EGP 7.105 bn at the end of November 2022, total Fund's cash recorded EGP 9.822 bn at the end of December 2022, compared to EGP9.756 bn at the end of the previous November, with a monthly growth rate of 0.68%.
