CIB's special lending offer to support women entrepreneurs

CIB has long been a champion of Egyptian women, raising awareness of gender equality both inside the Bank and in the communities in which it operates and creating initiatives such as "Helmik Yehemena," "She Is Back," "Women in Tech," "She's Next," and financial inclusion programs tailored to women's needs.

CIB is especially dedicated to empowering women entrepreneurs, as is evident with its "Women in Business" lending facilities, non-financial solutions, and digital solutions, which were created to cater to women-led companies in the SME sector.

CIB designed a special lending offering tailored for women-owned businesses to support women entrepreneurs, the first of its kind in Egypt. It is a short-term overdraft facility financing working investment needs (suppliers/ overheads/salaries/taxes/customs) in addition to issuing partially secured bid, performance, and advance payment letters of guarantee to support the company’s operations and tendering activities of existing and non-existing CIB customers.
