Minister of Agriculture Welcomes Alaa Farouk to Discuss Agricultural Financing Methods

Mohamed El-Quseir, Minister of Agriculture, received Alaa Farouk, Chairman of the Board of the Egyptian Agricultural Bank, and the bank's officials at the ministry headquarters in the New Administrative Capital, to discuss agricultural financing methods.
This comes in implementation of the directives of President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, to promote the agricultural sector and achieve food security and sustainable development. It also falls within the framework of the constructive and continuous cooperation between the Ministry of Agriculture and Agricultural Bank of Egypt.
The meeting aims to discuss agricultural financing methods, financial facilitations for agricultural projects, increasing the lending value for strategic crops, and expanding the target groups.
Alaa Farouk emphasized the bank's commitment to supporting the state's efforts in developing the agricultural sector and achieving comprehensive agricultural development through ongoing cooperation and coordination with the Ministry of Agriculture. This includes expanding the provision of necessary financing to support productive activities in the fields of agricultural and animal production.
