CIB supports the initiative celebrating Arab Financial Inclusion Day under the sponsorship of CBE

The Commercial International Bank announced its support for the youth celebration initiative under the sponsorship of the Central Bank of Egypt, from August 1st to August 15th, aiming to encourage Egyptian youth to benefit from banking products and services.
The initiative offers tailored banking products and services to meet the financial needs of the youth, such as the "Starting Savings Account," "Prepaid Meeza Card," and the "Smart Wallet."
1- Savings Account Start:
- Open the account with just a personal ID card.
- Fixed monthly yield starting from EGP 1.
- No minimum account opening or account opening fees.
- No minimum balance required.
- Free issuance of a debit card.
- Reduced monthly subscription fees of EGP 5 .
- Available for new customers who are Egyptian nationals.
- EGP100 administrative fee is charged for certain branch transactions at CIB.
- Additional fees apply to cash transfers within and outside Egypt, based on Central Bank of Egypt instructions.
- Settlement of credit card dues regardless of the amount.
- Direct debit transaction limits: Daily limit of EGP30,000, monthly limit of EGP100,000, and account balance limit of EGP250,000.
2. Meeza Prepaid Card:
- The easiest and fastest card to issue, available for Egyptian nationals only.
- Can be applied for with a valid national ID card, no need to have an existing bank account.
- The easiest solution for transferring salaries or pensions with no minimum transfer amount.
- Cash withdrawal from ATMs and purchase transactions in stores or online within Egypt.
- Spending limits: Daily ATM withdrawal limit of EGP 10,000, daily purchase transactions limit of EGP20,000, and monthly spending limit of EGP50,000.
3. CIB Smart Wallet:
- Receive and transfer money to any electronic wallet within Egypt.
- Bill payments (mobile, landline, internet, electricity, gas, and water).
- Mobile top-up.
- Donations to charities and institutions.
- Issuance of an online card and top-up with any amount for local online transactions only.
- Purchase and pay using QR code scanning at stores displaying "Meeza Digital" logo.
- Perform withdrawal and deposit transactions at ATMs displaying Meeza Digital logo.
- Perform withdrawal and deposit transactions at any authorized bank agent.
