EGP index declined against a basket of major currencies to 53.417 points on Wednesday

The Egyptian pound index Fell against the major currencies during Wednesday 9 August 2023, The index reached 53.417 points, compared to 53.512 points at yesterday's trading.

The Egyptian pound index decreased against 3 Currencies among a basket of seven currencies that measures the performance of the pound.

It Fell against Euro, pound sterling Chinese Yuan, it rose against Japanese Yen, and settled against the UAE dirham, US dollar, Saudi riyal.

The average selling price of the Euro in Egypt Increased from EGP 33.86 to EGP 33.97 while the average buying rose from EGP 33.74 to EGP 33.85 at the end of today's trading.

The average pound sterling selling rate in Egypt Increased from EGP 39.28 to EGP 39.41 while the average buying fell from EGP 39.15 to EGP 39.27 at the end of today's trading.  

The average selling price of the Chinese yuan in Egypt increased from EGP 4.28 to EGP 4.29 while the average buying settled at EGP 4.27 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Japanese yen in Egypt decreased from EGP 21.62 to EGP 21.58 while the average buying Fell from EGP 21.55 to EGP 21.51 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Saudi riyal in Egypt settled at EGP 8.24 while the buying price fell from EGP 8.22 to EGP 8.21 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the US dollar in Egypt settled at EGP 30.93 and EGP 30.84 for buying.

The average selling price of the UAE dirham in Egypt settled at EGP 8.42 and EGP 8.39 for buying at the end of today's trading.
