Faisal Islamic Bank, the Egyptian-based bank, topped the list with a percentage of 96.36%, as its deposits reached EGP132.586 bn by the end of June 2023. The bank's portfolio of individual deposits stood at EGP127.795 bn during the same period.

Commercial International Bank (CIB) Egypt claimed the third position, with 53.47% of its deposit portfolio, totaling EGP656.423 bn, dedicated to retail deposits amounting to approximately EGP351.011 bn by the end of June 2023.
alBaraka bank ranked fourth, with 49.32% of its total deposit portfolio of EGP78.607 bn by the end of June 2023 dedicated to retail deposits, which amounted to EGP38.771 bn during the same period.
The fifth position went to Housing and Development Bank, with 41.85% of its deposit portfolio, valued at EGP90.890 bn, focused on retail deposits amounting to EGP38.035 bn by the end of June 2023.
