aiBANK's retail loans grow by 14%, reaching EGP 6.1 bn in H1-2023

According to the financial statements of Arab Investment Bank 'aiBANK' ending in June last year. Personal loan portfolio increased by EGP735 mn, marking a 14% growth during the first half of 2023.
By the end of the first half of 2023, personal loan portfolio in the bank amounted to approximately EGP6.080 bn, compared to EGP 5.345 bn at the end of December 2022.
Personal loans grew by 17.6%, totaling EGP4.964 bn at the end of June 2023, compared to EGP4.222 bn at the end of December 2022, constituting 81.64% of the total individual loan portfolio.
Total Mortgage loans in the bank increased by 21.46%, reaching EGP766.1 mn at the end of June 2023, compared to EGP630.7 mn at the end of December 2022.
Additionally, the total credit card portfolio grew by 37.17%, reaching EGP 52.6 mn at the end of June 2023, compared to EGP38.3 mn at the end of December 2022.
Total debit current accounts in the bank amounted to EGP297.6 mn during the same period.
It is worth mentioning that the total loans and facilities to customers in the bank increased by 12.14%, reaching EGP23.388 bn at the end of June 2023, compared to EGP20.857 bn at the end of December 2022.
