First Bank's List Of The Fastest-Growing Banks In Retail Loans During The First Half Of This Year Revealed That alBaraka Bank - Egypt Topped The List With A Growth Rate Of 42.49%. Its Total Portfolio Jumped To EGP 6.164 Bn By The End Of June 2023, Compared To EGP4.326 Bn By The End Of December 2022.
The List, Which Included 11 Banks Listed On The Egyptian Stock Exchange, Showed That 10 Banks Achieved Positive Growth Rates In Their Retail Loan Portfolios During The First Half Of current Year, While only one Bank Recorded Declines During The Same Period.
EBank Occupied The Second Place With A Growth Rate Of 31.58% During The First Half Of The Current Year. Its Total Retail Loans Reached EGP 5.967 Bn By The End Of June 2023, Compared To EGP 4.535 Bn By The End Of December 2022.
Faisal Islamic Bank Of Egypt Ranked Third After Its Total Retail Loan Portfolio Increased By 18.85% During The First Half Of This Year, Reaching EGP 2.981 Bn By The End Of March 2023, Compared To EGP 2.509 Bn By The End Of December 2022.
Suez Canal Bank Came In Fourth Place With A Growth Rate Of 18.82% During The First 6 Months Of This Year. Its Total retail Loan Portfolio Rose To EGP 3.276 Bn By End Of June 2023, Compared To EGP 2.757 Bn By The End Of December 2022.
Housing development Bank- HD Bank Ranked Fifth After Its Total Retail Loan Portfolio Increased By 8.21% During The First Half Of This Year, Reaching EGP 22.934 Bn By The End Of June 2023, Compared To EGP 21.194 Bn By The End Of December 2022.
