CIB foundation & Hand in Hand HQ Join Forces: Providing Prosthetic Limbs for Needy Children

The International Commercial Bank Foundation in Egypt signed a cooperation agreement with Hand in Hand HQ Foundation to finance "Step by Step" project, providing prosthetic limbs for the first-year children in care who are in need of support. The agreement involves providing financial support of EGP4.7 mn to supply prosthetic limbs for around 400 Egyptian children urgently needing alternative limbs.
Hand in Hand HQ Foundation will identify the most needy children to expedite the provision of necessary prosthetic limbs for each child according to the organization's procedures.
The signing ceremony was attended by representatives from the International Commercial Bank in Egypt, including Nadia Mustafa Hassani, Secretary-General of the Board of Trustees of the International Commercial Bank Foundation; Engineer Sherif El-Saeed, Director of CIB Foundation; Dina Ahmed, Senior Programs Planner at CIB Foundation; and Irini Safwat, Programs Planner at CIB foundation.
Representatives from Hand in Hand HQ Foundation present at the event included Engineer Omar Safi El-Din, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Hand in Hand HQ Foundation; Engineer Amr Abu Zeid, Secretary of Hand in Hand HQ Foundation; Engineer Mohamed Hatab, Executive Director of Hand in Hand HQ; Mohamed Gamal; and Ahmed Nagdy, Senior Partnerships Officer at Hand in Hand HQ Foundation.
Sherif El-Saeed expressed gratitude for the support provided by Hand in Hand HQ Foundation in serving children, emphasizing CIB Foundation's full commitment to supporting children in care in various aspects of life, particularly their medical and health needs, which are top priorities for everyone.
Engineer Omar Safi El-Din, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Hand in Hand HQ Foundation, stated that the joint cooperation with CIB Foundation in Egypt would result in further support for children by expediting the fulfillment of all children's needs and providing necessary prosthetic limbs as quickly as possible, thanks to the financial support and significant efforts provided by CIB Foundation in Egypt.
