Agricultural Bank of Egypt and e& Egypt Enhance Rural Services through Strategic Partnership

The Agricultural Bank of Egypt has signed a cooperation protocol with the telecommunications company, e& Egypt, aiming to provide a wider mobile network coverage benefiting the bank's customers and rural residents across the country.

This collaboration will enhance the bank's services and offer faster and easier banking experiences for its clients. The agreement was signed by the Egyptian Agricultural Bank's Executive Advisor for Administrative, Engineering, Insurance, and Assets Affairs, El Saadi El Masri, and e& Egypt's CEO for corporate Sector, Hossam El Maadawi, at the bank's headquarters, in the presence of various bank and telecommunications company officials.

The partnership aligns with the bank's strategy to improve its infrastructure, technology, and customer service, ensuring high-quality mobile network coverage for rural areas and contributing to Egypt's agricultural sector development and rural life enhancement.

Furthermore, on this occasion, Sami Abdel Sadek, Deputy Chairman of the Egyptian Agricultural Bank, affirmed that this protocol's signing aligns with the bank's strategy, primarily focusing on continuing the development of infrastructure and technology.It aims to provide better service to the bank's customers.

He emphasized that this collaboration enables high-quality mobile network coverage provided by e& Egypt's network, benefiting the Egyptian Agricultural Bank's customers across its branches nationwide, as well as all rural residents in Egypt. He also noted that this partnership facilitates future benefits by enhancing the bank's services, providing easier and faster services to the customers, thereby adding value to the bank and its clients.

He pointed out that leveraging the bank's extensive branch network and its assets in villages would allow providing communication services to a broad sector of rural residents. This achievement aligns with the presidential initiative for a decent life by improving the quality of life in rural areas and elevating the social and economic standards of rural residents.

The Deputy Chairman of the Agricultural Bank praised the collaboration with e& Egypt as fruitful cooperation in various fields. He highlighted that e& Egypt is a strategic partner of the Egyptian Agricultural Bank in projects related to upgrading infrastructure, technology, and digital transformation, achieving numerous successful milestones.

He commended the successful efforts of the company in implementing the alternative network for the Egyptian Agricultural Bank, which contributed to automating the bank's branches, ensuring the continuity of providing high-quality services to its customers in the best possible manner.

On his part, Hossam El Maadawi, CEO for corporate Sector at e& Egypt, expressed his delight in cooperating with the Agricultural Bank, one of the oldest banks in Egypt.
