saib, one of the largest banks in the Egyptian banking sector, has signed a protocol to establish a water purification station using natural filtration technology (RBF) in the village of Al-Suwaieda, Zayniyah Center, Luxor Governorate.

This initiative aims to support comprehensive development, upgrade the most needy villages in Luxor Governorate, and implement a water purification station using natural riverbank filtration technology, which is a green technique that does not involve any chemical substances in water purification.

This initiative is part of the state's efforts to provide a decent life for citizens, deliver water to priority families in villages in Luxor Governorate, raise environmental and health awareness, especially among children and their families.

The protocol was signed at the headquarters of the Holding Company for Drinking Water and Sanitation in the presence of various officials from saib bank, the water and sanitation company, and the Rotary Club.

This project reflects saib bank's commitment to preserving water resources, providing clean and healthy water to the community, and contributing to the enhancement of the bank's position in Luxor Governorate.

It also aligns with the bank's vision to support environmental and social initiatives that benefit the communities it operates in. The initiative aims to improve water quality and enhance community life in Luxor Governorate by delivering clean water to over 25,000 citizens in water-scarce areas, thus supporting the state's sustainable development goals for 2030.
