President El-Sisi Announces Formation of New CBE Board for 2023-2024 Term

The official newspaper published President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi's decision, number 551 for the year 2023, to form the Central Bank's Board of Directors, chaired by Hassan Abdullah, acting as the Central Bank's president, starting from 27-11-2023 for a term of one year. The board includes 10 members, including the deputy president of the Central Bank. Following the Prime Minister's opinion, the Central Bank's Board of Directors includes: 1. Rami Ahmed Adel Aboul Naga - Deputy Governor of the Central Bank. 2. Tarek Mohamed Badawy ALkholy- Deputy Governor of the Central Bank. 3. Mohamed Fareed Saleh, acting as the head of the General Authority for Financial Supervision. 4. Ali Mohamed Ali Faramawy - Technology expert. 5. Naglaa Anwar Al-Ahwany - Economic expert. 6.
