First Bank Released A List Of The Fastest-Growing Banks In Terms Of Net Profits During The First 9M Of The Current Year. The List Revealed That FAB Egypt Topped The List, Achieving A Growth Rate Of 206% In Its Net Profits, Reaching EGP 8.2 bn During The First 9 Months Of 2023, Compared To EGP 2.68 bn During The Same Period In 2022.
The List, Which Included 21 Commercial Banks In The Egyptian Banking Sector, Analyzed Financial Data Provided By These Banks For The Period. It Showed That All The Banks Achieved Positive Growth Rates In Their Net Profits From January To September 2023.
Emirates NBD - Egypt Secured The Second Position After Achieving A Growth Rate Of 200% In Its Net Profits, Reaching EGP 2.55 bn During The First 9M- 2023, Compared To EGP852.6Mn During The Same Period In 2022.
HD Bank Claimed The Third Position On The List, With Its Net Profits Jumping By A Growth Rate Of 152.2%, Reaching EGP 4.42 Bn During The First 9 Months Of 2023, Compared To EGP 1.75 Bn During The 9M Of 2022.
Attijariwafa Bank Secured The Fourth Position, With A Growth Rate Of 140.9%, Recording Net Profits Of EGP 1.43 Bn During The First 9M Of 2023, Compared To EGP 592.1 Mn During The Same Period In 2022 Following Closely Was Credit Agricole - Egypt In The Fifth Position With A Growth Rate Of 137.2% During The Same Period.
EBank Achieved The Sixth Position With A Growth Rate Of 128.5%, Generating Net Profits Of EGP 2.16 Bn During The First 9 Months Of 2023, Compared To EGP 943.7 Mn During The 9M Of The Previous Year. It Was Followed By Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank – Egypt In The Seventh Position With A Growth Rate Of 121.9% During The Same Period.
NBK Egypt Claimed The Eighth Position With A Growth Rate Of 99.86%, Recording Net Profits Of EGP 2.57 Bn During The First 9M - 2023, Compared To EGP 1.29 Bn During The First period Of 2022.
Tenth On The List Was aiBank, Achieving A Growth Rate Of 99.68% In Its Net Profits, Reaching EGP 801.3 Bn During The First 9 Months Of 2023, Compared To EGP 401.3 Mn During The Same Period In 2022. 2022 Following Closely Was Ahli United Bank - Egypt With A Growth Rate Of 98.75% During The Same Period.
It Is Worth Noting That All The Mentioned Values And Growth Rates Are Based On Separate Announced Financial Statements Of Each Bank At The End Of The Fiscal Period Ending In September 2023.
