EGP index Fell against a basket of major currencies to 53.748 points on Monday

The Egyptian pound index decreased against the major currencies during Monday 22 January 2024, The index reached 53.748 points, compared to 53.765 points at yesterday's trading.
The Egyptian pound index Fell against two Currency among a basket of seven currencies that measures the performance of the pound.
It Fell against the pound sterling, Japanese Yen, and settled against the Euro, UAE dirham, Saudi riyal, US dollar, Chinese Yuan.
The average pound sterling selling rate in Egypt increased from EGP 39.30 to EGP 39.37 while the average buying rose from EGP 39.16 to EGP 39.23 at the end of today's trading.
The average selling price of the Japanese yen in Egypt increased from EGP 20.88 to EGP 20.92 while the average buying rose from EGP 20.81 to EGP 20.85.
The average selling price of the Chinese yuan in Egypt settled at EGP 4.30.at the end of today's trading, while the average buying settled at EGP 4.28.
The average selling price of the Saudi riyal in Egypt settled at EGP 8.24 while the average buying settled at EGP 8.22.at the end of today's trading.
The average selling price of the Euro in Egypt settled at EGP 33.71 while the average buying fell from EGP 33.60 to EGP 33.59 at the end of today's trading.
The average selling price of the US dollar in Egypt settled at EGP 30.93 while the average buying settled at EGP 30.84.
