EGP index rose against a basket of major currencies to 53.820 points on Sunday

The Egyptian pound index increased against the major currencies during Sunday 28 January 2024, The index reached 53.820 points, compared to 53.627 points at last Wednesday's trading.
The Egyptian pound index rose against one Currency among a basket of seven currencies that measures the performance of the pound.
It rose against the Euro, Japanese Yen, Chinese Yuan, pound sterling, and settled against, UAE dirham, Saudi riyal, US dollar,.
The average selling price of the Euro in Egypt decreased from EGP 33.74 to EGP 33.58 while the average buying Fell from EGP 33.62 to EGP 33.46 at the end of today's trading.
The average selling price of the Japanese yen in Egypt decreased from EGP 21.02 to EGP 20.88 while the average buying declined from EGP 20.95 to EGP 20.81.
The average pound sterling selling rate in Egypt decreased from EGP 39.44 to EGP 39.30 while the average buying decreased from EGP 39.31 to EGP 39.17 at the end of today's trading
The average selling price of the Chinese yuan in Egypt decreased from EGP 4.32 to EGP 4.31 while the average buying Fell from EGP 4.31 to EGP 4.29.
The average selling price of the Saudi riyal in Egypt settled at EGP 8.25 while the average buying settled at EGP 8.22.at the end of today's trading.
