EGP index rose against a basket of major currencies to 53.793 points on Tuesday

The Egyptian pound index decreased against the major currencies during Tuesday 23 January 2024, The index reached 53.793 points, compared to 53.748 points at yesterday's trading.

The Egyptian pound index increased against 3 Currencies among a basket of seven currencies that measures the performance of the pound.

It rose against the pound sterling, Euro Japanese Yen, it fell against Chinese Yuan and settled against UAE dirham, Saudi riyal, US dollar.

The average selling price of the Euro in Egypt decreased from EGP 33.71 to EGP 33.61 while the average buying fell from EGP 33.59 to EGP 33.49 at the end of today's trading.

The average pound sterling selling rate in Egypt decreased from EGP 39.37 to EGP 39.31 while the average buying Fell from EGP 39.23 to EGP 39.16 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Japanese yen in Egypt decreased from EGP 20.92 to EGP 20.89 while the average buying declined from EGP 20.85 to EGP 20.81.

The average selling price of the Chinese yuan in Egypt Increased from EGP 4.30 to EGP 4.31 while the average buying rose from EGP 4.28 to EGP 4.30.

 The average selling price of the Saudi riyal in Egypt settled at EGP 8.24 while the average buying settled at EGP 8.22.at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the US dollar in Egypt settled at EGP 30.93 while the average buying settled at EGP 30.84.

The average selling price of the UAE dirham in Egypt settled at EGP 8.42 and EGP 8.39 for buying at the end of today's trading.
